Narrow Neck Beach is a popular swimming spot located on the north side of the Devonport Peninsula in Auckland. Narrow Neck Beach is comparable in length to Cheltenham Beach but is often busier due to its adjacent park and a well-liked café. Above the cliffs to the east, you'll find Fort Takapuna on Takapuna Head, adding a historical dimension to your visit. The beach itself has a rich military history, having served as a significant training camp during World War II. Next to the café, you can view a series of boards displaying photographs from that era.

To reach Narrow Neck Beach from Takapuna, take Seabreeze Road from Lake Road. There are car parks next to the beach and along Vauxhall Road.
