As the tide goes out, you can walk from Narrow Neck to St Leonards Beach along the mostly rocky coast between the two beaches. The cliffs here are high, similar to the cliff-lined sections of the North Shore Coastal Walk further north. About two-thirds of the way along, there is a steep staircase that takes you up to the top of the cliff to Seacliffe Avenue.
As with many parts of this coastal walk, the variation in the rock formations, colours, and signs of erosion are particularly interesting features.
