The Cascades Loop track (Cascades Waterfall) is short in Whakanewha Regional Park on Waiheke Island. It runs through a beautiful strip of forest and down to a modest but picturesque series of small waterfalls through a rocky gully. A seat and picnic spot are at the bottom of the falls.
You can access the loop track along the Nikau Track from the Sculpture Car Park on Gordon Road or the car park on Carsons Road. The two options are similar in length and attractive forest walks. Allow about an hour to get from the car parks and back.
