Waiiti is a small beach south of Tongapōrutu and Whitecliffs, just off Pukearuhe Road in the Taranaki region. If you continue down Pukearuhe Road, you’ll find the start of the Whitecliffs Walkway, about three hours return. Walk to Wai Pingao Stream, then leave at the swingbridge to go to the beach.
Be aware of the tide if you want to walk back along the beach, as the surf reaches the cliffs at high tide.
