Finding the Waterfall
To locate Tangitororia Stream Waterfall, look for an unmarked parking area on the east side of the road as you leave Pauanui. This spot is easy to miss, appearing shortly after the 70 km/h speed zone ends. From the parking area, a brief walk along the stream will lead you to the waterfall and its refreshing swimming holes. On Topo Maps, the track is labelled Gumdigger Gully, but Google Maps shows the waterfall without indicating a track or name.
