Tangitororia Stream Waterfall is a few minutes drive out of Pauanui. There is an unmarked parking area on the east side of the road (left going away from town). It’s easy to miss but will be seen shortly after the 70 km/h speed zone ends.
From the parking area, the waterfall is a short walk along the stream to the waterfall and swimming holes. On Topo Maps, the track is marked as Gumdigger Gully; Google Maps marks the waterfall but not the track.
