Parkinson Lookout is signposted from Scenic Drive in the Waitakere Ranges, just after Rose Hellaby House, heading northwest. There is a grassed area beside the road and then a very short forest walk to a viewpoint similar to the house.
This is a good option for a picnic or an alternative viewpoint if access to the house is restricted.
