The Pariatua Trek takes two to three hours and climbs high on Blue Duck Station above Whakahoro. You get a great sense of the progress of the regenerating forest, protected by the station owners, and can look a long way up the Kaiwhakauka Valley.
This trail is not for the faint-hearted and includes long periods of uphill!
