Follow the Scenic Drive sign from Hurunui Mouth Road to Gore Bay on Cathedral Road. Along the way, you can also access Manuka Bay and stop at a viewpoint overlooking The Cathedrals. Unfortunately, this view is a bit limited.
The bay itself is very attractive, with a sandy surf beach fringed by mostly holiday homes. There is also a campground, and the Tweedies Gully track takes you to a high point above the bay.
